Mallory becomes suspicious when a glamorous and affluent older woman shows an unusual interest in Nick's artwork. Victoria Hurstenberg, a prominent art patron, offers to help advance Nick's career, quickly dedicating herself to mentoring him. However, her constant presence begins to consume his time and jeopardizes his relationship with Mallory. She firmly believes that Victoria's intentions extend beyond merely appreciating Nick's talent.
