When an old college buddy, Matt Gilbert, reaches out to Steven for help in bringing back a leftist political magazine they used to work on two decades ago, Steven comes to the unsettling realization that he has drifted from the radical ideals it once embodied. Instead, he finds himself leaning more towards moderate beliefs than he ever anticipated. Thrilled by Matt’s offer to fund the revival of "The Scavenger," Steven eagerly anticipates the chance to voice his opinions and reminisce about his college days and his pursuit of Elyse. However, it only takes one article for him to recognize that he no longer aligns with the revolutionary left.
