Episode Overview
Mallory's excitement about her new apprenticeship at David Campbell Fashions quickly turns to disappointment when she realizes her design concepts are being taken by a colleague. She is overjoyed to join this renowned fashion house in Ohio and eagerly discusses her responsibilities with the talented designer, Jamie Carter. However, when Mallory nervously inquires if her school designs will be featured, she senses Jamie's lukewarm response. Despite Jamie’s initial praise, she emphasizes that Mallory still has much to learn. As Mallory dedicates herself to her work, she is shocked to find out that Jamie has claimed her designs, presenting them as her own to David Campbell, who plans to showcase them in an upcoming fashion show. Devastated, Mallory feels utterly betrayed.
