To help Alex express his feelings, Lauren convinces him to participate in a therapy group. After returning home from a date, they find themselves in the middle of an argument that started in the car. Lauren is frustrated with Alex for taking her to a tedious economics department event and accuses him of steering clear of any deeper, personal conversations.
