In 1984, firefighters in California faced a relentless series of ten arson fires over just three weeks. As investigators discovered links between the southern California blazes and additional fires in the north through cigarette butts and a piece of paper, the search for a dangerous firestarter intensified. Eventually, the breakthrough came when a fingerprint was uncovered, leading them to an unexpected suspect.
