In the second part of the story, Te-O-Tane, aided by Rekareka after eliminating Takapuai, receives a summons from the seasoned warlord, Tapuwae. There’s still an outstanding issue of revenge to settle—the death of Te Huki, a diplomatic chief who was betrayed by another iwi.
