A news reporter is eager to capture Darkwing Duck in action, but she finds his heroics dull and unexciting. In a bid to boost her ratings, she decides to turn into a villain for Darkwing to battle. Meanwhile, Gosalyn, who looks up to the reporter, ends up siding with her. This unexpected twist puts Darkwing in a challenging position as he faces off against both the new threat and the young girl who admires the very person trying to defeat him.
