Episode Overview

Gary brings his cat to the vet, concerned about its health. He reluctantly leaves the feline overnight, but hurries back the next morning for paperwork, only to discover both the cat and the documents are missing. Surprisingly, the cat turns up at Eunice’s house, the vet's mother, with the paperwork in tow. Gary starts to question whether the cat has chosen to leave him behind. As the story unfolds, he learns that the cat's true intention is to help him save Eunice, who is battling cancer and reminiscing about her long-lost love, Lucius Snow, from 40 years ago.
