While walking through Chicago, Gary unexpectedly encounters his mother. Intrigued, he decides to follow her and witnesses her sharing champagne with an unfamiliar man. Initially, Gary fears that his mother may be involved in an affair, but soon discovers that the man has deceived her into investing in a fake business.
