As Chuck prepares to marry in Chicago, Gary recognizes his fiancée, now calling herself Jade, as Amber, a notorious jewel thief. Concerned, Gary confides in Marissa, who insists he must warn Chuck. When Gary confronts Jade, she claims to genuinely love Chuck and insists she has changed. Choosing silence, Gary learns of a planned diamond heist at an auction the next day. To keep Jade close, they organize a private rehearsal dinner. However, Jade hires strippers to handcuff Gary and Chuck, allowing her to escape with the diamond. Upon confronting Jade later, she claims she stole it to reclaim a national treasure, but Gary, skeptical, takes the diamond and anonymously alerts the curator.
