As the Ezono Festival draws near, the Equestrian Club dives into preparations for the Ban'ei horse racing track, even though Hachiken is overwhelmed with tasks. Later, he gathers the courage to ask Mikage on a date, and her friends inadvertently expose his feelings for her. However, on the festival morning, Hachiken unexpectedly collapses on the race track, leaving everyone concerned.
