Officer Nolan sustains a minor injury while pursuing a shoplifter, but the local district attorney insists on pressing assault charges against the suspect, going against Nolan's wishes. Meanwhile, Lucy takes on an undercover assignment, and the FBI intervenes, seizing Lopez's wedding venue.
