Episode Overview

On a sweltering day, Rebecca and Jack bring Kevin, Kate, and Randall to the local pool, only to discover that each child is facing their own challenges. Kevin prepares for his debut audition for a Broadway show in New York, where he encounters a fierce actress who isn't particularly taken with him. Meanwhile, while dining out with Kate, Toby unexpectedly bumps into his ex-wife, triggering a wave of insecurity in Kate. Additionally, William is wrongfully accused of loitering in Randall's mostly white neighborhood, shedding light on underlying racial tensions.
