Episode Overview

With the X-Files officially shuttered, Scully takes on the role of an instructor at the FBI Academy, while Mulder finds himself stuck with mundane surveillance tasks. After a meeting with Senator Matheson, a key ally concerning the X-Files, Mulder decides to go against orders. He sets off for a deserted SETI facility in Puerto Rico that has mysteriously come back to life, hoping it might hold evidence of contact with extraterrestrial beings.
