Episode Overview

While a French salvage vessel is on the hunt for a WWII fighter plane, it inadvertently uncovers an alien entity that manifests as a dark, oily substance and can transfer between hosts. Mulder travels to Hong Kong to look into a salvage broker who provided the French with the intel, where he crosses paths with Krycek, who has been peddling information from the MJ files. Just as Mulder plans to escort Krycek back to the U.S., the alien arrives in Hong Kong and seizes control of Krycek.
