During Scully's 33rd birthday celebration, a mysterious woman approaches Mulder to share the news of Max Fenig's death in a plane accident. Intrigued, Mulder investigates the crash site, where he discovers Max's body, marked by unusual radiation burns. Convinced that a UFO was involved in the incident, Mulder theorizes that the military is swiftly attempting to conceal the truth behind what really happened.
