Arthur Dales invites Mulder and Scully to his vacation house in Florida, worried about the vanishing neighbors. Undeterred by the fierce hurricane, the agents set out to look into the situation. Their investigation leads them to uncover a series of bizarre fatalities linked to an octopus-like sea creature that has entered the area through the flooded sewer system.
