Episode Overview

The Lone Gunmen reach out to Mulder and Scully, asking them to visit a virtual reality lab where a tragic incident has occurred. A program tester was found dead within the immersive game, apparently killed by a digital representation of a woman. Eager to confront the threat, Mulder decides to enter the game himself to battle the mysterious figure. However, it soon becomes clear that Scully must intervene to rescue him from the perilous situation.
