Mulder and Scully sit through a film featuring themselves as characters, and they're appalled by the way they and their investigation are depicted. They reflect on an experience from a year and a half prior when a Hollywood producer shadowed them as they worked on a case involving The Lazarus Bowl—a legendary artifact said to bear the words spoken by Jesus when he brought Lazarus back to life.
