With the year 2000 approaching, the agents face off against a member of the Millennium Group who is convinced he can trigger the apocalypse on December 31st by resurrecting four deceased members. To better understand the group's beliefs and rituals, Mulder and Scully recruit criminal profiler Frank Black to aid them in their investigation.
