Episode Overview
The teams kicked off their adventure in Beijing, China, where their first challenge took them to Tiantan Park to retrieve a clue hidden in a kite flown by a local. They then made their way to the Great Wall for a Detour, deciding between navigating steep steps up close or opting for flat steps further back. All teams chose the steep route, which highlighted some tensions in Frank and Margarita's partnership, prompting Margarita to emphasize the importance of teamwork to succeed. At the Great Wall’s summit, they discovered a clue directing them to a bed and breakfast in Anchorage, Alaska. After securing tickets from San Francisco to Seattle and then to Anchorage, they spent the night at the B&B. The following morning, they participated in a traditional Alaskan “Blanket Toss” to uncover the next clue, which sent them to a glacier.
