The Amazing Race (2001)

Episode Overview

At the Arc de Triomphe, the teams receive their next challenge: to locate La Grande Rue, a ferris wheel situated somewhere in the city. They must secure the route marker when the ferris wheel opens. Upon arrival, they face a detour. The "Easy Walk" requires them to find Foucault's pendulum, but only one of the two nearby options is correct. Unfortunately, Pat and Brenda pick the wrong one, causing them to fall behind. The "Tough Climb" involves ascending Notre Dame to ring Quasimodo's bell. Kevin and Drew opt for the Fast Forward, which takes them to a local café. Afterward, they rush to the pit stop at Chateau Les Baux. In the Roadblock, one teammate must navigate the Paris sewers. Pat and Brenda arrive last and are eliminated, dropping from first place in Leg #2 to last in Leg #3.
