The Amazing Race (2001)

Episode Overview

The teams head from their pit stop at Anani Lodge to Bangkok, eager to secure flights, but the airport proves to be the great leveler as always. Upon arriving in Bangkok, they face a Detour, choosing between Confusion Now and Confusion Later. Confusion Now means locating the right taxi at a water taxidock, while Confusion Later involves burning a paper car as a spiritual offering. The teams divide their choices, with some running into challenges. One team loses precious time by visiting the wrong shrine. Later, a Roadblock sends them into a dark, deep cave, and the fear of this challenge could jeopardize one team's chances in the race.
