Episode Overview
The racers start their final leg at the Pit Stop in Ellis Beach, Australia. David and Jeff are the first to hit the road, followed closely by Chip and Reichen, then Kelly and Jon. Their next destination is an Aboriginal Cultural Park, but they only have a single dollar for this leg. Arriving at the park, they find it doesn’t open until 6 A.M. Once inside, they witness a traditional ceremony before receiving their next clue, which instructs them to drive fifteen miles to the general aviation terminal at Cairns. In a fierce race to get there, Chip and Reichen push their speed too far and veer off the road, but they’re uninjured. They all reach the terminal, where a Detour awaits: “Wing It” or “Wander It.” In “Wing It,” teams must skydive from a plane to grab their clue, while “Wander It” offers a different challenge.
