Episode Overview

Title: Officer Blue Plot: Following the tragic shooting of mounted officer Valasquez in the park, Mac embarks on a quest to recover the bullet that caused the officer's death, only to discover it is embedded in the horse's spine and its removal would be lethal. The investigation points them toward a nearby street vendor, but progress halts when the D.A. advises Mac to avoid any actions that could endanger the horse until its donor has the opportunity to say her farewells. Meanwhile, Aiden delves into the case of Lenny Starks, a young man found dead in the street, leading her to a local pizzeria where she encounters threats from bookies exploiting it as a gambling operation.
