When a former patient and old friend of Wilson's shows signs of paralysis in his right arm, Wilson takes it upon himself to investigate. House bets Wilson that the symptoms are due to the emergence of new cancer cells. Despite his reservations about a cancer recurrence, Wilson accepts the challenge. With his team's assistance, he strives for a hopeful diagnosis, but as the patient's condition deteriorates, Wilson grapples with the difficulty of distinguishing his personal feelings from his professional duties. Meanwhile, Cuddy looks for guidance in her quest for a new home.
