Gordon and Vicky come to the aid of a retired army horse that appears to be nearing the end of its life. Meanwhile, their new neighbor Robbie, who lives under the watchful eye of his grandmother, strikes up a friendship with Vicky and Kevin. He quickly becomes captivated by the horse named Soldier.
