Carrie attempts to establish her presence at Big's apartment by leaving behind a few of her belongings. Meanwhile, Miranda receives unsettling news that one of her ovaries has ceased egg production. Charlotte begins dating Stefan, a pastry chef she initially believed to be gay; he humorously identifies as a "gay straight man." In another storyline, Samantha plots a way to get back at her former lover, Dominic, who left her heartbroken.
