Boyd and his team dive into London's notorious gangland after Harry Newman reveals a shocking confession about 12 "unauthorized killings" on his deathbed. While Dr. Grace Foley finds this puzzling, Boyd and the others initially view it as nothing more than the ramblings of a dying man. Their perspective shifts dramatically when forensic psychologist Frankie Wharton uncovers that Newman didn’t pass away from natural causes; he was murdered. As they dig deeper, they realize Newman’s life was far more complex than they thought, especially with connections to a notorious fifties trial involving a gangster executed for killing two police officers.
