Episode Overview

Nineteen-year-old Kay Dixon is drawn to the lavish lifestyle of the extravagant racketeer Max Foley, who is attempting to launch a floating cabaret. However, she soon becomes ensnared in a grim reality filled with prostitution, exploitation, and brutality, feeling trapped with no escape in sight. Meanwhile, the police begin to look into Foley after one of his criminal associates is violently attacked.
