As the nurses’ union negotiations with the hospital escalate, Maggie and Goodwin find their friendship strained. Meanwhile, Ripley and Archer care for a skateboarder who has been hit by an emergency vehicle. In another part of the hospital, Frost steps in to assist a young boy who has been left behind by his mother.
