Meanwhile, Dr. Reese encounters Danny, a former patient, at a pivotal moment in his life. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Latham work on a 16-year-old girl suffering from a genetic disorder who needs surgery, but her overly protective mother is against the idea. A convict with unexpected motives checks himself into the hospital, while Dr. Charles interferes in his daughter Robyn’s love life, much to her irritation.
