Dr. Charles faces a challenge as he tries to persuade Dr. Choi that surgery isn't the only solution. Meanwhile, Dr. Rhodes gets into trouble with Goodwin after ignoring her explicit instructions. April feels exasperated with Maggie, who keeps probing her about her authority while she fills in as the charge nurse. Additionally, Dr. Manning has a nagging feeling that Dr. Halstead is hiding something from her.
