ThunderCats (1985)

Episode Overview

Jaga is taken captive by Nemex, a malevolent force in the Astral World, prompting Lion-O to seek a way to save him. According to a Third Earth legend, only the wicked Nether-Witch has the power to transport others to the Astral World. Unbeknownst to the Thundercats, Mumm-Ra and the Nether-Witch are actually the same entity. Mumm-Ra ensnares Lion-O within the Astral realm, leading him on a quest to rescue Jaga. During their escape from this mystical prison, Lion-O and Jaga free an ancient sorcerer named Brodo, who has languished there for ages. Grateful, Brodo returns Lion-O to his own world.
