Episode Overview

Mumm-Ra hatches a scheme to use the fabled Mask of Gargon to awaken a slumbering child in the hills of Elfshima, hoping to unleash the child against the Thundercats. After Chilla and Tug Mug are turned to stone while trying to retrieve the mask, Mumm-Ra takes matters into his own hands and realizes he needs the Eye of Thundera for the mask to tap into sight beyond sight and rouse the giant child. Lynx-O alerts the Thundercats about the impending danger, but Lion-O, Panthro, and Willa venture to the pyramid, only to be petrified by the mask. Mumm-Ra uses the Eye and the mask to summon the giant, but Lynx-O and Ben-Gali in the Thunderstrike manage to defeat it, shattering the mask and reversing the petrification. The Eye of Thundera then incinerates the book containing the mask's dark secrets.
