ThunderCats (1985)

Episode Overview

Lion-O manages to break Mumm-Ra's spell on the Thundercubs, allowing them to escape New Thundera safely. Together with Snarf, he confronts Mumm-Ra to retrieve the Book of Omens. After defeating him, they summon Mu-Mutt with a magical flute to help them return to Third Earth using Mumm-Ra's device. Meanwhile, the Lunataks capture several Berbils, prompting the Thundercubs and Thunderkittens to venture to Sky Tomb to rescue both the Berbils and the other Thundercats. Once freed, they find themselves trapped by the Lunataks until Lion-O and Snarf come to the rescue. The Thundercubs then enter the Cave of Time to reclaim their Thundercat forms, while Mumm-Ra is left behind on New Thundera, only to be returned to Third Earth by the Ancient Spirits.
