Episode Overview
As earthquakes intensify due to a faulty Gyroscope, Lion-O receives an urgent signal from Thunderian refugees. He teams up with Cheetara and Snarf to locate them. Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra brings Grune the Destroyer back to life, and Grune sets out to confront Lion-O and Cheetara. During their encounter, Grune shatters the Sword of Omens and captures them, imprisoning them on the Churning Rocks. Snarf, who had been hiding, collects the Sword's fragments to take to Bengali for repairs. However, he is captured by Char, a thief intent on claiming the Sword for himself. Snarf cleverly convinces Char to reforge the Sword, and once it is restored, Lion-O senses its presence and calls out to it. The Sword flies to him, allowing him to escape and ultimately defeat Grune, but Mumm-Ra still controls the Gyroscope's regulator.
