Episode Overview
After yet another earthquake triggered by Mumm-Ra disrupts the construction of the new Cats Lair, the Thundercats seek out Jaguara to confront Mumm-Ra. Unfortunately, he erects a force field blocking their path. Jaga appears to Lion-O, advising him to use the Eye of Thundera to reach Jaguara and the Gyroscope. Lion-O complies and engages in a fierce battle with Mumm-Ra, who hurls him into a bottomless pit beneath the Gyroscope. Resourcefully, Lion-O uses his grappling hook to pull himself back up. He then signals the other Thundercats, who leap through the force field. United, they unleash their weapons on Mumm-Ra, defeating him. However, before he departs, Mumm-Ra severs the cord holding the Gyroscope, causing it to plummet. With New Thundera in jeopardy, Lion-O thrusts his sword into the space where the Gyroscope
