Episode Overview
Regine starts packing up her things to leave the apartment. Khadijah and Synclaire meet with a potential new roommate, a loud woman who smokes and has debts looming over her. Despite her flaws, Khadijah is open to giving her a chance until the woman makes an offensive remark about Regine. The mounting stress causes Synclaire to exhibit signs of nicotine withdrawal, though she refrains from smoking. She urges Khadijah to apologize to Regine and convince her to stay. Just as Regine is ready to leave, Khadijah finally breaks down and says sorry, but Regine stands firm, believing it’s time for her to move on. Khadijah angrily shuts the door behind her. Meanwhile, Max is grocery shopping when a robber enters the store. Kyle rushes in and tackles the thief, saving Max. Overjoyed, she throws herself at him in gratitude and later invites him to dinner. Kyle shares the story with Overton.
