Episode Overview
Max and Khadijah become frustrated with Regine's indecisive boyfriend, John, and jokingly suggest she write him a letter asking for freedom. Max decides to act on the joke, leading to Regine's heartbreak when John unexpectedly breaks up with her. To mend the situation, Max and Khadijah visit John's place to clarify the misunderstanding and encourage him to stand up for himself. Just as John is ready to apologize to Regine, she arrives with her new boyfriend, Keith, an artist who recently worked on a mural at the studio. Confused, John brings flowers to end things with Regine but mistakenly thinks Max is interested in him. Meanwhile, Kyle's girlfriend, Kimberly, flirts with Overton whenever Kyle isn’t around, but when Kyle confronts her, she candidly admits to her behavior, prompting him to kick her out.
