Episode Overview

Scooter makes his way back to New York, but Khadijah isn’t thrilled to see him, upset over his months of silence. Their argument escalates on the roof, and in a surprising turn, Scooter proposes with a ring, which Khadijah quickly accepts. However, as they visit a jewelry store to get the ring sized, both begin to question their engagement. They realize they rushed into this decision out of fear of losing each other, and their year apart has not helped their relationship. They ultimately decide to call off the engagement and return to being friends. Meanwhile, Regine, struggling with her dating life, takes her friends' advice and declines a date with Cleophus Wade, only to find out later that he’s both handsome and wealthy—he owns the carpet cleaning company. Cleophus thanks her for the rejection, as it prompted him to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend.
