Joe goes undercover in State Prison to dismantle a dangerous Mexican gang leader who has orchestrated a hit on an SFPD undercover officer who had penetrated the Mexican Mafia. Meanwhile, Nash leads the investigation from the outside, determined to keep a promise to the deceased officer's widow by bringing the assassin to justice. However, he's faced with a major distraction when Nick, while organizing his will, uncovers some long-lost riches.
