Episode Overview

While Matt is away assisting the Army with a gold shipment, Dodge becomes vulnerable to Morgan and his crew, who seize the opportunity to storm in with a Gatlin gun. Inside the Long Branch, as Morgan indulges in whiskey, Kitty takes aim and shoots him, wounding him in the shoulder and face. With Matt en route with the gold, Morgan sits there feverish and reckless, marked by the permanent scar he now bears. All Dodge can do is brace itself for the unfolding chaos.
