Episode Overview

While on the prairie, Matt and Chester discover Rod Ellison, who has been shot and left paralyzed. They hurriedly bring him back to Dodge for medical attention. Upon their arrival, they encounter Ben Witter, a brusque deputy sheriff from Pueblo, who claims he's there to apprehend Ellison for robbery. However, Matt grows wary of Witter's lack of a legitimate arrest warrant, raising doubts about his true intentions.
