Ally is feeling utterly defeated, but it’s not about Billy or Greg; it’s a deep emotional crack. She’s come to terms with the thought that her ideal partner might not actually exist. However, after a surprising pep talk from Fish, she decides to take charge of her romantic life. Embracing the idea that she needs to "kiss a lot of frogs" before finding her Prince Charming, Ally embarks on a dating spree and opts for a complete makeover. Meanwhile, Nelle is growing increasingly frustrated with John Cage, who seems to be the only one who gets Ally’s romantic fantasies. Concerned that John and Ally are reinforcing each other’s daydreams, Nelle wishes for her boyfriend to confront reality more directly now that they are together.
