Episode Overview
Larry's ex-wife approaches him for permission to take their son to Canada as she relocates. They clash over the possibility of one of them moving closer, so their child can grow up with both parents nearby. Jamie questions why Larry and she can't rekindle their relationship, to which he replies that she isn’t Ally. They share a kiss. When Larry tells Ally about it, she overreacts until he clarifies that Jamie will always just be the mother of his son. They reconcile. Meanwhile, Ling's ex-fiancé reaches out to see if there's still hope for them, but Ling refuses to jeopardize her girlfriend’s happiness. In a separate storyline, Melanie is dismissed from her job for frightening children, prompting John to take legal action.
