Episode Overview
Ally is off to the Bermudas with Victor, while Liza begins her first day as the newest attorney at the firm. Nelle is not pleased about this, especially since Liza has taken over John's office. Right away, Liza brings in another lawyer, Wilson Jade, whom she had planned to partner with in her own practice before joining Cage, Fish & McBeal. Nelle and Wilson take on a case involving a woman suing her husband for sexual harassment, while John and Liza defend Nicole Naples, who is legally married to two men. The chemistry between Liza and John flourishes in court, and they manage to keep Nicole out of jail. John finds himself nearly falling for Nicole, who shares his interest in mariachi music. Meanwhile, back at the firm, Claire is smitten with Wilson, who successfully negotiates a settlement with Nelle's assistance. Liza uncovers Nelle's real name—Morgan—while revealing that Liza herself is actually Debbie!
