Martin is in a tight spot as he scrambles to find someone to rent his vacant apartment after the other tenants back out of their commitment. At the same time, Julie reveals that she’s pregnant by a French exchange student and requests that Martin cover the cost of an abortion. Tensions rise when Kate discovers a bill from the gynecologist and confronts Martin about it.
