Gibby selects Martin to represent Whitestone at the Chicago Book Fair, giving him just a week to prepare. With Toby pregnant and not feeling her best, Martin proposes hiring a temporary assistant to help manage the extra workload. Toby recommends her cousin Louie, and despite some initial hesitation, Martin agrees, allowing Louie a trial period to demonstrate his capabilities.
