Episode Overview
While on patrol, Boyden narrowly avoids a tragedy when a van hits a teenage girl. A mall security guard identifies the girl’s friend as a shoplifter, and when she refuses to reveal her identity, Boyden is stunned to learn that the girl is Monroe's daughter, Jackie. He stands by Monroe during this tough time, recalling his own recent struggles with his daughter, Amy. As rumors swirl among the officers, Monroe insists on strict consequences for Jackie to quell concerns about favoritism. However, he soon faces the harsh reality of his strained relationship with her, especially when she goes missing. Meanwhile, Page discovers drugs in Jackie's friend's possession, prompting Brownlow to step in amid media scrutiny following a tragic overdose of another girl from Jackie's school, only to face more pressure when news of Jackie’s arrest breaks.
